April Trovillion is a freelance Los Angeles Area scenic artist, designer, and art director. She specializes in themed design, digital rendering and painting, faux finishes, murals, backdrops, 3-dimensional sculpting, and inflatatable painting. She holds an M.F.A. in Design and Production (specialization in Scene Painting) from California Institute of the Arts, and a B.A. from Wesleyan University (Middletown, CT).

She hails from Long Island where she worked at Theatre Three Productions (Port Jefferson, NY), the John W. Engeman Theater at Northport (Northport, NY), and the Westside Theatre (New York, NY) with Avancy Productions (Ronkonkoma, NY).

Since moving to California in 2011, she has worked as a scenic artist for, among others, Stooshe's "Love Me (Feat. Travie McCoy)" music video with Artists & Derelicts; PCPA Theaterfest's 2011-2012 season (Santa Maria, CA); AFI Thesis Short “Revenge of the Mop Bucket Mastermind”; the 85th Annual Academy Awards; and several productions with The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles.
